STEAK PENNE PASTA WITH CREAMY GARLIC PARMESAN SAUCEĀ

Ā Ingredients:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz penne pasta

1 tablespoon butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Ā Directions:

Ā Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Ā Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces generously with salt and pepper on all sides. Add the steak to the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Ā SautĆ© the Garlic: In the same skillet (don’t wipe it clean—those browned bits add flavor!), melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sautĆ© for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and golden but not burned.

Ā Make the Cream Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, allowing the cream to reduce slightly and thicken.

Ā Add the Parmesan: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce becomes thick, creamy, and velvety smooth.

Ā Combine with Steak: Add the cooked steak pieces back into the skillet along with any accumulated juices from the plate. Toss to coat the steak in the luxurious creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

Ā Toss with Pasta: Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until every piece of pasta and steak is thoroughly coated in the rich, creamy sauce.

Ā Garnish and Serve: Transfer to serving plates and garnish generously with freshly chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.
