Chilli PaneerĀ 

Ingredients :
200g Paneer (cut into cubes)
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp K. Red Chilli Powder
1/2tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2 Cup Cornflour
Oil to Deep Fry
2 – 3tbsp Oil
2tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
1tbsp Ginger (finely chopped)
2 Chillies
Half Onion
Half each Red , Yellow & Green Bell Peppers
1/2tbsp Red Chilli Paste
1 Cup Water
1/2tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
1tsp White Vinegar
1/2tsp Salt
1tsp Aromat Powder
1/2tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2tbsp Sugar
Cornflour Slurry – 1tbsp Cornflour + 2tbsp Water
Spring Onions light greens for Garnish

Method :

  1. Cut paneer into cubes.
  2. Add salt, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste. Mix gently.
  3. Coat the paneer in cornflour & set aside for 10 mins.
  4. Deep fry paneer till light golden brown.
  5. Heat 2 – 3tbsp oil in a pan.
  6. Add garlic. Saute till light golden brown.
  7. Add ginger. Saute for few seconds.
  8. Add chillies. Saute for few seconds.
  9. Add onion and bell peppers. Saute for few seconds.
  10. Add red chilli paste and mix well.
  11. Add water, soya sauce, white vinegar, salt, sugar, black pepper powder & aromat powder. Mix well bring to a boil.
  12. Add cornflour slurry. Mix and cook till sauce thickens.
  13. Add fried paneer. Mix well.
  14. Garnish with chopped spring onions.
  15. Enjoy with steamed rice or fried rice.
