Cheesy Spaghetti with Ground Beef and Velveeta Marinara Sauce

Ingredients:

12 oz spaghetti

1 lb ground beef

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp onion powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Chopped parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until just al dente, then drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain off any extra grease.

3. Season the cooked beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes if you like heat, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir everything together.

4. Pour in the marinara sauce and mix well. Let it simmer on low for about 5 to 7 minutes so all the flavors can blend together.

5. Add the cubed Velveeta to the skillet and stir gently until it melts into the sauce, turning everything thick and creamy.

6. Add the drained spaghetti right into the skillet and toss to coat every strand in that cheesy beef marinara goodness.

7. Sprinkle mozzarella over the top, then cover the pan and let it sit for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts. For a golden top, you can pop it under the broiler for a few minutes.

8. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil if you’d like. Serve hot and enjoy every cheesy bite!
