How To Make Pecan Praline Cake
- Prepare the Cake Batter: Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box.In a large mixing bowl, blend together the cake mix, 1 container of coconut pecan frosting, ⅔ cup of oil, 1 cup of water, and 4 large eggs until the mixture is smooth.Gently fold in the ½ cup of finely chopped pecans.
- Bake the Cake:Pour the mixture into a well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Make the Topping: While the cake is still warm, add the 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1 (14 oz) can of sweetened condensed milk to a pot over medium heat. Stir until the butter has completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
