Ingredients
Potatoes
- 4 medium Russet potatoes
Seasonings
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- 4-6 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly.
- Cut the potatoes no more than halfway down, making thin slices across. Angle the slices for extra crispiness.
- In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Brush each potato lightly with olive oil.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the potatoes, making sure to get it into the slices.
- Place the potatoes on a parchment-lined baking tray and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, brush the potatoes with additional olive oil halfway through baking. Try topping with shredded cheese or fresh herbs for added flavor.
