
Ingredients
3 pounds about 1.4 kg potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
4 cloves garlic minced
1 cup 240 ml chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup 120 ml milk
1/2 cup 115 g unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: 1/2 cup sour cream or cream cheese for extra creaminess
Optional garnish: chopped chives or parsley
Instructions
Add potatoes and garlic to the slow cooker.
Pour broth over the potatoes.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until potatoes are tender.
Drain excess liquid (leave a little for creamy texture if desired).
Mash potatoes inside the slow cooker using a potato masher or hand mixer.
Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper and mix until smooth.
Optional: Stir in sour cream or cream cheese for extra richness.
Taste and adjust seasoning, then garnish with chives or parsley.
