A spicy twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, featuring chipotle peppers for a smoky kick.
Ingredients
- 2Â slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice, butter side down, in a skillet.
- Sprinkle half the cheese on the bread in the skillet.
- Spread the chopped chipotle peppers over the cheese.
- Add the remaining cheese on top.
- Place the second bread slice on top, butter side up.
- Cook over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of chipotle peppers to control the spice level.
- Use a non-stick skillet for easier flipping and cleanup.
